The WYSO 2025

Summer Intensive

Do you know a young musician ready to take their flute or violin skills to the next level? The WYSO Summer Intensive offers dedicated students the chance to immerse themselves in a week of inspiring music education, led by an impressive roster of accomplished instructors.

This summer, WYSO is hosting specialized intensives for Flute and Violin, featuring exceptional faculty, including: Sonora Slocum (Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Principal), Patrick Tsuji (Minnesota Orchestra), Brandon LePage (Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra Principal), Naha Greenholtz (Madison Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster), Christina McGann (Vanderbilt University), and more to come!

Held at the WYSO Center for Music, the Summer Intensive offers students the opportunity to learn from top-tier musicians, participate in ensembles, and deepen their musical understanding—all within a supportive and engaging environment.
